Pippa’s Guardians provides an exclusive Guardianship service for students attending UK boarding schools and whose parents live overseas. Our role is to create a strong working relationship between you as parents, your child, his or her school, and the host family who will be your child’s ‘home away from home’.

With our support you can be confident that your child is safe and well cared for, that working relationships are strong and that communication is stress-free. Bright World Guardianships is the UK's leading provider of care services to UK boarding school and university students. We were established in 2000 and have been fully accredited by AEGIS (The Association for The Education & Guardianship of International Students) since 2006. In March 2017 we gained re-accreditation, achieving 100% in nearly all areas of the re-inspection.
Parents and agents often remark that we are very efficient and easy to work with. We promise a fast response and high standards of service to parents and agents and care to our students. Our excellent host family network makes half terms a pleasure for our students. We are now however thrilled to be able to offer another half term solution for students seeking a fun alternative to a stay in a host family. ‘Relax & Revise’ is our new bespoke course, based in Cambridge, which is designed to match the needs and wants of international students. As well as the option of subject specific 1:1 tuition, we include a number of optional excursions each week. Whether it’s Punting at King’s College or Shopping in London, we have got it covered.

The Guardian Family Network Ltd (GNet) was established in 2013, providing invaluable support to international students. We work across the whole of the UK, trusting the 90+ schools we have partnerships with to care for the educational needs of our students. The GNet team are dedicated to communicating in a timely manner, liaising between our partner agencies, schools and homestay families to ensure that our students receive the best academic and pastoral support whilst they are studying in the UK. Our bespoke services include production of financial estimates and statements, payment of school bills and other associated costs, making travel arrangements, assistance with purchasing of school uniforms and handling of day to day issues occurring within normal school life. Our Homestay families are committed to providing a home away from home for their students. We carefully match all of our students' backgrounds, interests and ages to that of their Homestay families, giving them the best chance of stability and happiness while in the UK. All of our Homestay families are personally visited, approved by parents, are DBS checked and live within a 1-hour radius of the school. Settling into a new environment can be even more difficult when those around you do not understand your culture. Homestay families are thoroughly supported through their time with us and have an appreciation of the cultures of the students they are welcoming into their homes. This mutual cultural development of not just the students but of the Homestay families, allows UK families to enjoy and learn about perceptions, traditions and values of other countries.
The safeguarding of our students is of paramount importance to the company. As guardianship is an unregulated industry, it is crucial to choose an agency that is accredited. We are certified members of the Boarding Schools Association and accredited to Gold standard by AEGIS, an independent body working to support all international students at schools in the UK.
